Good morning! Y’all I have been waiting for this wedding since I met Bret & Sam last year at their engagement session- I knew it was going to be one amazing wedding & I was right! Dark Hunter Green tones, dreamy loose florals, a black & white dance floor, a live band, custom YEEZYS, a CANNON to announce dinner…. It was epic. Bret & Sam said I do at St Mary’s Parrish in Annapolis this past Saturday with a reception at the Old South Country Club. These two newlyweds met back in 2015 at a Redskins game but it wasn’t until 4 months later that their paths crossed again on St Patrick’s Day! The rest was history!

When the time came for Bret to start looking for rings to propose he knew he was going to use his great grandmothers setting with Sam’s favorite stone – the perfect sentimental ring! Two days after deciding on a ring, when Sam uncharacteristically sent a photo of a beautiful butterfly to Bret. What she didn’t know was this was a common “sign from Pop-Pop” amongst the family, and it was also on the four-year anniversary of his passing. To Sam it was a beautiful moment, but to Bret and he rest of the family it was Pop-Pop giving his approval. (Seriously gave me chills!!!) The proposal night came & after tricking Sam into believing all her friends & family were busy for the evening, they went to Bret’s family for a “casual dinner” where he ended up proposing on the boat!! After the initial shock of what was happening, Sam went to call her parents but then realized that they were all up at the house waiting to surprise her. I mean, could you get a more perfect beginning to your marriage?
